Mother Nature provides winter season activities to enjoy during pandemic

February 2, 2021

Treaty 2 Territory – During this time of the pandemic and the closures of most recreational facilities a lot of time is being spent indoor with little physical activity involved. During the winter season it is even more difficult to get active. This winter season has also seen an increase in people finding outdoor activities to stay active and get the whole family involved in being outdoors. It is important to take care of your physical self. Being outdoors gives you energy and a positive feeling. These activities also give the family an opportunity to be together and share family time together.

There are different types of activities that can be enjoyed by the family to get active. Skating is an excellent way of getting exercise and being with family. Sledding is another way to enjoy the outdoors. Ice fishing, ski-doo, hiking, hunting, trapping are a few more activities that are done in treaty 2 territory. Go out side and enjoy Mother Nature’s winter season, plan family activities that all will enjoy. Please stay safe.
