February 5, 2021

Treaty 2 Territory – FNT2T Regional Offices have been busy in January after the seasonal break. The Local Nation Helpers continue to participate in the FNT2T Lodge online training programs. These training sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursdays as part of their governance training. They have completed a 5 day Safety and Hazard training. Regional Offices continue to work with the Local Nation Helpers in developing and ratifying their first law (constitution). The Local Nation Helper will be engaging the local members for input into the development of their constitution.

Regional Office Dauphin will be taking part in the Mountain School Division annual graduation pow wow that will be held virtually this year. Carol Shankaruk of the Mountain School Division invited FNT2T to participate as they have in the past few years. There have been various online meetings, staff meetings, training development that the Regional Offices have attended. Please look for updates and engagement information in your local nation and watch our MTN Live programming for updates and interviews on FNT2T.
