Comprehensive Anishinaabe Legal Traditions continues FNT2T’s sovereign steps

Treaty 2 Territory – The Governing Council met on Thursday 11 February 11 2021 to discuss, deliberate and ratify several inherent laws. As such, comprehensive Anishinaabe Legal Traditions were presented on:

  • 2021-01-11-001 Treasury and Administration Law
  • 2021-02-11-002 Children, Families and Nation Declaration and Law
  • 2021-02-11-003 Formation of the Treaty 2 Territory Peacemaking Law
  • 2021-02-11-004 Establishment of a Tribunal
  • 2021-02-11-005 Implementing a Traditional and Contemporary Economy
  • 2021-02-11-006 Self-Determination of our Natural World
  • 2021-02-11-007 Restoring Local First Nation Governance and Self-Determination preparing to sunset Canada’s AADNC/ISC
