Treaty 2 Territory – On Sunday April 11, 2021 – Care and Protection of the Natural World Keepers were honoured to be welcomed to the home of Louis Malcolm. We spent 8 hours learning from Louis about the process of collecting and processing Maple Sap into syrup. During the day we documented Louis’ knowledge using video cameras.
The following is a short preview of a longer presentation currently in postproduction. This first documentary produced by CPNWC Staff will take a little longer to make final cut as we fine tune our postproduction workflow.
Watch for this – and more content from Care and Protection of the Natural World Staff as we seek out Knowledge from the keepers of Treaty 2 Territory in the coming months as part of our Climate Adaptation Project. We hope you will enjoy learning along with us.
