FNT2T continue to develop relationships with local organization to bring awareness to newcomers in the Treaty 2 Territory

April 28, 2021

Treaty 2 Territory – On Tuesday April 27,2021, FNT2T internal/external met with Deborah Slonowsky of Dauphin Regional Connections Immigration Services at their office in Dauphin, Mb. FNT2T presented a flag and a picture of the Treaty 2 Territory to the office for newcomers to see where they are in respect to the Treaty 2 area. Regional Connections and FNT2T have had previous meetings to build a relationship in educating the newcomers to the history of Treaties and in particular Treaty 2 and the formation of the FNT2T government.

As part of this relationship, Regional Connections will be providing information to all newcomers to the area, a link to the FNT2T website, where people can access all the information and developments in the First Nations in Treaty 2 Government. FNT2T would like to thank Deborah in contacting and including FNT2T in their education plans for all newcomers in the treaty 2 territory. We look forward to working together in bringing awareness to all people.
