Treaty 2 Territory – Gambler Nation members participated in an online virtual session on law development on Wednesday May 12, 2021. FNT2T Child, Families and Nation and Peacemaking Circles made presentations to the members and leadership of Gambler Nation. Circle Keeper Lois Stoll gave a presentation on how CFN Circle was developing their own territorial Children and Family law for FNT2T and how Gambler Nation could develop their own local law in for the children of Gambler. Peacemaking Keeper Chantel Barker presented the Peacemaking law to the members of Gambler and presented how FNT2T developed the territorial law and creating our own system of peacemaking law for each nation. Due to Covid 19 in our nations and all over the territory, all engagements on law development will be done online for safety of everyone. With vaccinations being done, there are plans to do in person engagement in each nation for input by all members for CFN and Peacemaking law development.
