Treaty 2 Territory – Pinaymootang Councillor Blair Thompson posted on May 17, 2021, “A historic day for Pinaymootang, and a very emotional one for me, the community baseball diamonds will be set up starting today.” This will provide the youth of Pinaymootang another option of participating in baseball and other sporting activities with the construction of the new baseball diamonds in Pinaymootang.
The work is progressing today with two of the baseball diamonds already set up. This will be good for our youth and young adults as well who love the sport of baseball. Pinaymootang has always had a history of playing baseball for generations. I will keep updating on the progress of our baseball diamonds. Thanks to Pinaymootang Chief and Council and the Volunteers who helped to make this happen.
