FNT2T Children, Families and Nation circle engages all members in the territory virtually

Treaty 2 Territory – On June 02,2021, FNT2T Children, Families and Nation Circle held an online engagement session for all members from the treaty 2 territory, this included the urban, town and nation members. There were members from the nations of Gambler, Pinaymootang. FNT2T Children, Families and Nation Circle Keeper Lois Stoll presented the draft law to the members explaining the differences between the FNT2T law and the current provincial childcare system. Over the next few months with the Covid restrictions in place, there will be online sessions every week for all members to register and engage with the law development in the areas of Child family law and Peacemaking processes.

As part of the engagement, Peacemaking Circle will also be presenting to the members on developing a peacekeeping law for FNT2T replacing the current provincial court system. Please look for upcoming online sessions for your opportunity to be involved and engaged in developing your local nation laws.
