Treaty 2 Territory – Ochichakosipi held a Knowledge Keepers gathering for the local knowledge keepers to gather and share stories with each other. This gathering took place on September 14 and 15 at the beautiful beach of Ochichakosipi. The gathering started off with a terrific breakfast put on by the local health department. Other events planned for the two days included bingo, feast, story sharing and teachings. There will be home cooked meals prepared by the health throughout the two days.
There will be a family gathering event for the members of Ochichakosipi in third week of September. Members are encouraged to attend with family and to participate in the family events and meals.
