November 2, 2021

Treaty 2 Territory – On November 16, 2021, Gambler First Nation and FNT2T along with St. Lazare school are participating in a Reconciliation event with the raising of a teepee at the St. Lazare school. This is part of a on going relationship between the school in St. Lazare and the members of treaty 2 territory. The Earth Lodge Keeper Allen Sutherland will be conducting the tee pee raising ceremony, along with drum songs to honor the event. This is one of many reconciliation events that are taking place in the treaty 2 territory. FNT2T is supporting these events to promote and bring awareness to the calls to Truth and Reconciliation. FNT2T would like to thank the leadership of Gambler and the St. Lazare school for inviting FNT2T to be part of this important event. Please look for postings and announcements of reconciliation events near you.
