Treaty 2 Territory – FNT2T government was part of a presentation by the Mountain School Division on November 4, 2021 at the Credit Union Place in Dauphin Mb.  A beautiful artwork made by the students in the division as part of the recognition of the 150 th signing of Treaty 2. Elder Bev Harvey gave the opening prayer to opening the presentation. Chief Wayne Desjarlias of Ebb Flow Nation and Chief Cameron Catcheway were present for the gift from the students. Chief Desjarlisas spoke to the audience of the importance of education and learning for the children everywhere.

This is one of many reconciliation events that are taking place throughout the territory, in schools, organizations and businesses to further promote awareness and learning of the history of Canada and the indigenous contributions to the building of Canada. Please look for upcoming events near your nation or community. FNT2T would like to thank the Mountain School Division for this great event.
