March 24, 2022

Treaty 2 Territory – A few months ago, in the fall we shared with you some exciting news of Gambler First Nation acquiring Odanah Truck Line – a Brandon based Trucking & Logistics Business which has been operating in Canada & 48 US States.

Timaskâw Transport was founded by Gambler First Nation and Kahkewistahâw First Nation; an equal partnership which represents a new approach to community owned businesses, economic capacity and community building.

A subsidiary of Timaskâw, Odanah Truck Line is growing and their runs have increased (but not limited to) the Mid-West USA to Alberta.

Odanah Truck Line currently has opportunities available for Drivers to join their Deck and Van Divisions

Odanah Truck Line is located in Brandon, Manitoba and has been in operation since 1999. Company drivers are paid a per mileage rate, plus a safety bonus, tarping and layover time.

Odanah strives to have their drivers home for a good work/home balance.

As part of their hiring process, they do have a preference for Class I Drivers with 2 (two) years experience and however they would be willing to make an exception for the right candidate.

It is a requirement for all drivers to supply their own personal protection equipment. Any and all equipment necessary for securing the load will be provided.

As with any company in the Trucking/Transport Industry, Odanah Truck Line is compliant with all rules and regulations for border crossing therefore all drivers must have a valid passport, drug and alcohol testing, knowledge of ELD’s as well as the requirement of double vaccination and the use of the ArriveCan app.

If you are interested in joining this progressive company, please email your information and current driver’s abstract to . Thank you for your interest in joining the Odanah family.

Once again, our Treaty 2 Territory Anishinaabe Government congratulate the Nation of Gambler as they lead in self sufficiency while securing a future for their members.
