National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Commemorate Programs
The Commemorating the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation component of the Commemorate Canada program provides funding to eligible recipients for initiatives that commemorate or increase awareness of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and of the history and legacy of residential school

True North Aid – Backpack & School Supplies Program
Backpacks & School Supplies for the 2022/2023 School Year
Applications open Monday, April 25th, 2022
Deadline: May 6th, 2022
Applications for these supplies must be submitted by members of the school or education authority in your community, who will assess the number of supplies/backpacks needed for the upcoming school year. True North Aid may not be able to fulfill the entire request to supply a whole school with supplies due to funding limitations and the need for equitable distribution to other communities who will apply from across the country.
True North Aid – Community and Reconcili-Action Grant Program
True North Aid Reconcili-Action and Community Grant Applications will open on Tuesday, April 19th, 2022. Communities can apply for activities between mid-July and mid-October of 2022.
