Treaty 2 Territory – Ron Ducharme is a proud member of Minegoziibe Anishinabe. Earlier this week, Ron visited Minegoziibe to provide critical and life saving training as Owner/Instructor of Core First Aid.
Training on Standard First Aid, CPR and AED was provided to Pine Creek First Nation Firefighters. Our Treaty 2 Territory Anishinaabek Government Congratulate all those who renewed their training and refreshed their skills during this training session.
Having this life saving education and training is such an important part of everyday life; not only will it be used in the capacity as a fire fighter, but will also provide assistance in times of family or community emergency, an accident on the highway, or at a local sporting event.
Miigwech to all those who train to be certified in this area. Not only does it build capacity, but it compliments one’s resume when seeking employment and grants all those who become certified with increase confidence in reaching their goals.
We Congratulate (L-R in photo above) Ron, Kenny, Harvey, Dillon, Glen, Linden, Stacy Jayden, Jamie Jr., Jamie Sr. Your bravery and the sacrifices that you make to run into a burning building when everyone else is running out demonstrates the level of care you have for your Nation’s members.
