Treaty 2 Territory – Tootinaowaziibeeng Health held a family camp week at the cultural centre from Jun 27- Jul 01, 2022 in Tootinaowaziibeeng. There were many activities for the members to participate in all week long event. Some of these activities were:

  • Meat drying
  • Hide tanning
  • Bannock frying
  • Geocaching
  • Music therapy
  • Scavenger hunt

This event was hosted by the Tootinaowaziibeeng Health department which includes Jordan’s Principle, BFI, Wellness program and the cultural centre staff. There were visitors from other nations during the week. Attendees had the opportunity to sleep in teepees or tents. There was great food available all week for the participants. This was the first family camp and will become an annual event with more activities and workshops to be available. FNT2T would like to thank the Tootinaowaziibeeng Health for the invitation to attend the camp. The annual health fair will be held in August 2022. Please look for upcoming events in or near your nation.
