FORMATION OF ANISHINAABE AGOWIDIIWINAN – TREATY 2

In 1998, a meeting of First Nations from treaty 2 led to the birth of Anishinaabe Agowidiiwinan, the Anishinaabe (Chippewa) and Cree First Nations who were present at Manitoba House on 21 August 1871.
