Local Nation Helpers continue virtual online training sessions

Treaty 2 Territory – Local Nation Helpers continued their online training sessions on Thursday January 07,2021 with Toby Desmonie of the Saskatchewan First Nations Safety Association from the Treaty 4 area. This session was on “ Hazard Identification and Controls”. Safety is an important issue that sometimes is overlooked in our nations. This provides the Local Nation Helpers with information and training on identifying safety hazards and concerns that are in our nations. This is a 5 day training session that is provided to the Local Nation Helpers as part of their work and training plan. The Local Nation Helpers are also in training at the FNT2T Lodge in their Master Certificate in Governance and Nation Development. All training is done online due to Covid 19 precautions.
