Young mother brings awareness to MMIMB in the territory

October 25, 2021

Treaty 2 Territory – Dominque Mintuck is a young mother from Tootinaowaziibeeng Treaty Reserve who has been an advocate for MMIMB Murdered and Missing Indigenous Men and Boys. Dominique has been affected by the loss of her own family member. Dominque says there needs to be more awareness of how many indigenous men and boys are murdered or are missing along with the women of our nations.

Dominque has been making her own clothing, shirts, logos to promote the awareness of the missing and murdered men. She is a supporter of all the nations and groups that are trying to find family members that went missing and are looking for answers. Dominque uses some of her income from her merchandise, which is hand made, to donate to the different searches and groups looking for support. She has donated all over North America, with her logo being shared throughout the nations. There needs to be an awareness and education on the men and boys who go missing everyday in North America.
